Bought this to be able to move around my yard to find shade while watching my kids play. Have already used it camping. My kids love snuggling up with a blanket. Wish I had bought the sunshade tho! I love the set up time!

Saw this on Indiegogo. Ordered the stand and Hammock. It arrived in early April. Tried it out a few times. But only for an hour or so. As I don't really have anywhere (trees) to put up my other hammock.
But it's really warmed up in the UK over the last few weeks and I've been suffering from a bad back. So I decided to sleep in the garden (using an under blanket from DD hammocks), lots of star gazing and great sleep. Bad back has eased off. I also stuck up a ridge line for a 3 meter x 3 meter tarp as it rained one night. I prefer using it to sleeping indoors.
I love it and look forward to taking it into the semi wild if I'm car camping. Aubrey the dog also used it as handy shade. See picture.

How compatible is the anymaka hammock stand? Can I use my own hammock?
The anymaka portable hammock stand works with traditional gathered-end hammocks up to 12 feet. If the hammock is excessively long, (usually due to excess rope) it can be securely fastened by wrapping the excess around the ends of the frame. If the hammock is too short, there are a couple of options available. It can be adjusted to a chair mode position, alternatively, the length of the hammock can be extended by using additional rope.

How resistant is the hammock stand to rust?
The anymaka hammock stand is made of aluminum alloy, which is naturally rust-proof. Additionally, all the bolts and screws used are made of 304 stainless steel, and the stainless steel components undergo passivation treatment to enhance their corrosion resistance. The aluminum alloy used in the stand undergoes acid anodizing treatment and is coated with black textured paint to further protect it from corrosion. The product has also undergone a 36-hour salt fog test, equivalent to exposing the stand to the elements for 2 years, to ensure corrosion resistance.
How should I care for my anymaka hammock stand?
- Never leave hammock stand unattended.
- Even though it's rust-resistant, don't leave it outside when it's raining.
- No need to wash the hammock stand with water. Instead, use a dry rag for cleaning.
- When you're not using it, put it in the travel bag it came with and store it in a cool, dry place.
How should I care for my hammock?
Keep your hammock away from direct sunlight when you're not using it, and store it in a cool, dry place. When washing, take off carabiners first, use cold water and mild detergent, then let it air dry. We only recommend hand washing. If you need further cleaning, machine wash with the following instructions:
- Wash hammock in cold water
- Do not dry clean
- Do not tumble dry
- Do not iron
How should I care for my canopy?
Do not launder the canopy in a washing machine. If it gets dirty, wipe it with a damp cloth or rinse it with water, then let it air dry.
